GROUPON SESSION SALE SPECIFIC QUESTIONS:
If you are thinking of purchasing our Groupon special and have some questions....
This is for a one hour, weekday studio session in our Sand Springs Studio for up to 5 subjects. It includes a package of one pose/image of four retouched prints in the following sizes -- one 8x10, (1) 5x7 and (2)4x5 prints. Your session also includes an in-person custom ordering session where you'll view a slideshow and we'll help you make your order choices in the studio.
The Senior Portrait Groupon includes an hour of studio time, multiple background and outfit changes, and (24) custom wallets.
What types of photography can this be used for? Family session, the kids, a maternity or short newborn session, a couples/engagement session (however, we do not shoot boudoir). This special cannot be used for event photography or commercial photography, ie, business headshots or bridals.
If you are looking for Senior Portraits, make sure you purchase the Groupon for Seniors. We have two Groupon's running. One for families, kids, couples, maternity, and newborns. The other is SPECIFICALLY for Seniors!
When does my Groupon expire? Expires February 28, 2012. You need to schedule your session before January 28, 2012. Unfortunately, we cannot extend the date beyond the stated expiration.
THE PHOTOSHOOT:
Can we do a location session instead? Absolutely! Your Groupon photo session is specifically for our indoor studio, but you can upgrade to a location session when you book your session.
How long is my photo session? Your appointment time covers up to one hour in the studio.
Can we add on additional time? Sessions that include babies under 4 weeks can opt to add on an hour of time for an additional fee. Please note that our newborn sessions typically run 2+ hours. We are on their schedule, and rushing them never works.
Can I add more people into my session? This is for up to 5 subjects (people or pets). You can add on additional subjects for $25 per subject. We do not recommend large groups greater than 8 in the studio.
Can I change outfits partway through? It's your hour. The time it takes to change outfits will reduce the number of images we can capture. But, you are welcome to change clothes if you like!
Can I include my pet/pets? Yes, well-behaved potty trained pets are welcome in the studio. Dogs need to be able to obey the commands of sit and stay or remain in your control on a leash. Cats and other fur-children should arrive in a pet carrier.
Can I book back-to-back sessions with others that also purchased and then combine my session time with them? Sorry, one session at a time. If you have more than 5 subjects in your session, there is an additional per subject fee.
BOOKING POLICIES AND PROCESS:
How do I schedule my Groupon Session? After your Groupon purchase, you'll receive a Groupon Voucher. You'll need your Groupon Voucher # in order to book your session. The sessions are scheduled on a first come first served basis. Ever heard, "the early bird gets the worm"? We live and die by that rule! All sessions will be scheduled using our online forms.
What are your Studio Hours? Studio sessions are booked Monday through Friday, 9am to 6pm. If you choose to upgrade to a location session, we shoot during the early morning light and just before sunset. Saturday sessions incur an additional fee.
How far in advance do I need to book? We book sessions up to around 3 weeks out. We suggest that you book a month in advance (especially before the holidays). We do have some last minute session dates and times available but to ensure your preferred date and time, its best to book ahead.
What is your Holiday Schedule? Sessions need to be completed by December 1st, 2011 and orders placed by December 5th, 2011 to ensure portrait delivery by December 20. Custom items such as frames, canvas prints, or albums must be ordered no later than December 1st.
The studio is closed November 24th and 25th for Thanksgiving, as well as December 17th through January 2nd for Christmas Break.
What is your cancellation policy? What if I need to reschedule? 24 hours notice for a reschedule or you forfeit your Groupon. We reserve the right to limit multiple rescheduling requests. If you do not show up for your session without letting us know, your Groupon session will be forfeited.
Can't I just view my session online and order that way instead? Your only opportunity to see your portraits is when we get together in person at our studio. We will help you through the process. Your portraits are not posted online, and there are no printed originals or "proofs" to take home.
How many photos will I see from the session? We will show you at least 15 + of the best images from your session from which to make your decision. It all just depends on # of break-outs we do based on particpants in the session.
Can I substitute prints? Sorry, no substitutions to this incredible deal.
How soon will I receive my prints once I have placed my order? Our turnaround time is approximately 2-3 weeks after your order is placed. But more than likely, they will be ready much sooner than that.
PRICING AND PAYMENTS:
Do I have to purchase anything else in addition to what is included? Of course not, but we think that you will love your images and want more than just one pose. Do keep in mind though that Oklahoma State Sales Tax on your Groupon purchase will be collected at your order/review appointment.
Can I purchase my session files on disk? A high resolution disc of all your presented session images is available for purchase for $495 after a $100 print purchase. (this is a 55% savings over regular digital pricing).
When will my order be ready? How are they delivered? Orders are typically ready to be picked up within 2-3 weeks of your ordering session, with the exception of albums, frames, and canvas prints which take additional time. We’ll notify you when your order is available for pickup or you have the option of having it shipped to you for a small additional charge.
How may I use my images? Flying Turtle Photography retains ownership and copyright of all images, however those clients who purchase the digital images will be granted personal, non-commerical reproduction rights. Images may not be copied, sold, altered, or published by the client without written agreement by Flying Turtle Photography.
What forms of payment do you accept? We accept cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. All orders must be paid for at time of purchase.
